impressionistic music existing outside of the verse-chorus-verse structures of a three-minute pop song that expand and blur the boundries between folk, ambient and electronica.

"(the) music is hauntingly beautiful. I'd like to be sitting on a hillside in the fall at twilight. sitting in some dead grass by big tree with an old abandoned house in the background, maybe reading Job or Lamentations or Jeremiah. or just laying back with the headphones on, feeling the cold wind blow and taking it all in." - chris cummings (of theCELLexperiment)

"Since forming in 1998, mayfairgrin has covered quite a bit of sonic territory. Utilizing and often combining the sounds of EBM, goth rock, and various native musics, [the] sound is quite dynamic" - experimental ambient artist, jason coffman (of Anaphylalxis/Anaphylactic shock recordings)

hypnotic drones. dramatic. subdued. unsettling and soothing. warm sounds veiled in a deeply shadowed darkness. black and white cinema, a bit of noir, a bit of horror. a deep melody plays its dreary song while metallic sounds bounce and echo off the tight walls created in this sombient soundscape. cold harsh industrial beats, bleak digitized atmospheres, grinding rhythmic guitars, ghostly voices in the machine programming your soul to rebelliously dance.

joshua sierk is an artist's artist. he is a musician, a poet, a traveler, and sometimes -what some might call- a shaman. hearing his music is much like listening to the swaying of the veil that seperates waking consciousness from dream-filled slumber. like one might dream of hopeful things to come or lament times past, this also is true for the music of lunelac and of the man behind the guitar. if there's one thing we know about this musician, it's that he is in love with layers of sonic reverbiation. mr. sierk adores his delay pedal.

internationally acclaimed new york poet billy lamont has performed on MTV and Much Music Television and appeared on major radio stations across the United States. Lamont has also performed at many major rock festivals including touring with Lollapalooza '94, '95, 2003 and Cornerstone Festival 2004. lamont's influential, signature post modern artisrty is at it's best within this book and "strobe light generation"'s message of hope shines brightly in this fast paced age of consumerism, quick fix spirituality, sensationalism in the press and reality television. in response to the success and impressive sales of his first above ground book of poetry, "the gallery Of light," lamont has given many book signings in shopping malls at such major book stores as Barnes and Noble and Waldenbooks. lamont performs spoken word alone or with musical accompaniment. he enjoys performing with various rock bands and also doing recitals of his forty minute performance poem "the gallery of light," which evolved out of his book of the same name.
